NPD's latest report – agency to market analysis of new technologies – brings very interesting data relating to the mobile market. As it turns out, small tablets are gradually driven out of the market by the large size of smart phones and equipment with larger screens.

While tablets with screens from 7 to 7.9 inches in the last year accounted for 58% of the overall market for these equipments, their sales will continually decline due to rising interest appliances from 8 to 10.9 inches. It is predicted that in 2018 more equipment selling in excess of the number of their "lesser brethren". The impact of the reduced demand for smaller tablets is also great interest in smartphones with screens 5.5 inches and larger. An interesting fact is that it grows very quickly also participated in the tablet market with a screen over 11 inches.
