A few days ago we mentioned that according to some sources, Google may not reveal any new hardware at this year's I / O conference. Part of the fans of the brand Nexus 7 had the appearance of a new version of the tablet. The predictions came true because Google decided not to disclose the new hardware. Interesting news arrived from the company iFixt, which deals with the repair of electronic equipment and is famous for presenting the dismantled parts of new equipment. At the screwdriver experts went to the tablet Google Pixel C.For a quick reminder, let us add that we are talking about the 10.2-inch hybrid display with a resolution of 2560 x 1800 pixels (308 ppi), driven by the processor Nvidia Tegra X1, 3 GB of RAM LPDDR4 and having 32 GB or 64 GB (depending on the variant) the capacity of the internal memory. The tablet is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Specialists from iFixit step by step described their struggles with dismantling the tablet into separate parts. The final evaluation is only four points out of ten possible, where ten is the best result. It seems that Google Pixel C is a device extremely difficult to repair, which would guarantee proper operation. Although some of the components (eg. USB-C) is implemented as a separate module and can easily be replaced, however it motherboard itself was strongly adhered to the same housing. A similar solution was observed in the case of batteries, which significantly hinders the ability to properly repair. iFixit also argues that gets under the hood the device requires first-picture display. It is not an easy task because of the strong connection terminals of the individual parts. Particular attention was paid also to the Bluetooth keyboard, which holds up to 17 magnets dispersed over the entire surface, through which it is possible to use a convenient and thus transform the tablet into a laptop. Unfortunately, even the internal parts in large quantities are fixed with a special glue. As you can see, Google Pixel C is the last tablet, which is better not to disassemble without specialist equipment. This could lead to a direct damage.
