The 10.5-inch iPad Pro will not stand out from the rest of Apple's tablets. It only gets narrower, lateral frames and a virtual Touch ID button. What else can we expect?
In recent months, there have been many rumors about the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro. Recently, I mentioned that even a well-known speculative analyst, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, predicted another iPad to come out at the WWDC 2017 conference. The most notable rumors that have come up were reports of a frameless display or lack of a physical Touch ID. Now it turns out that probably the information was significantly up-front. Benjamin Geskin has prepared new renders of the alleged 10.5-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad 2 Pro. The images were prepared on the basis of three-dimensional tablet models received by Apple's accessories makers. Geskin says that the information security is 100% and the tablet itself has already hit mass production. This means that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will have frames around the display, but they will be much narrower than the current models – they will be 7 mm. The upper and lower frames will be approximately 19 mm. The Touch ID button will remain, but like the iPhone 7, it will be virtual rather than physical. At the top of the tablet, there will also be two microphones (including three). We also see four speakers and a mini-jack. This iPad Pro will also receive a Smart Connector and LTE module. It is suggested that both models They will debut June 5, during the Apple conference. Geskin confirms what we reported earlier – Apple does not anticipate further development of the iPad mini line. It is not surprising that Apple will not choose to introduce a new tablet design just before the launch of the iPhone 8. So I conclude that for more revolutionary changes in the iPad we will wait until next year. Source: Benjamin Geskin
