IOS 11 will bring many changes that will largely expand the possibilities of working with files and apps on the iPad. We already know how multitasking will work.
Previous iOS functionality enabled the iPad to open two windows of different applications and work at the same time between them. Until recently, even such "multitasking" was not available from Apple devices. IOS 11 is stuck in this area, bringing quite a bit of refinements. We already know that you will be able to use Drag & Drop in iOS 11, which will allow you to work with files between different applications. Programs will be able to be extracted from the Dock lowered from the bottom. By holding down the icon, you will be able to drag it (as before) to the corner of the screen to open the selected application window. IOS 11 will allow you to open up to 4 windows of different programs . At this time, we will be able to change their size and position relative to each other. To do this, simply drag and drop the app icon from the Dock without dragging it to the very bottom of the screen. iOS 11 will also remember the applications that we included at the same time and their arrangement. Their preview will be displayed in App Spaces , right next to the icons from the Control Center. The next version of iOS will bring much more powerful multitasking. This will allow you to take advantage of the capabilities of different applications, especially when working with multiple sources. Source: Apple Insider
