In 2018, the iPad Pro will be similar to the iPhone X. It gains Face ID and will lose the iconic Home button. But we do not have to rely on OLED display.
This was to be expected. Apple will plan to standardize its products and services functionally. Starting in 2018, the first iPad Pro will receive similar solutions as the iPhone X – reports Bloomberg. Apple is currently working on a high-end tablet that will be devoid of the iconic Home button with a built-in fingerprint reader (Touch ID). The new iPad Pro will have the same dimensions as the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, and will have a faster processor, native GPU, and built-in components that will allow Face ID. so they will receive a new biometric security. Unofficial information also indicates that the new iPad will have significantly narrower frames (top and bottom). It is too early to say how this tablet will look exactly but we do not have to worry about getting a cut at the top of the display like the iPhone X. The new iPad will not get an OLED display. Next it will be LCD. This is probably due to the low availability of new displays. Apple is also working on a new version of Apple Pencil and tools in the software to take full advantage of the potential of the next generation digital pencil. When will this tablet debut? According to Bloomberg, just over a year since the release of the latest iPad Pro, most probably only in September 2018.Source: Bloomberg
